Julie, Carol, Karen and I.Our plan was to go to Axel's in Mendota, but true to Minnesota weather.....it started sleeting, snow....and our windshield was icing up on the drive up to Julie and Ken's. We decided to not drive into the city but to have steaks and pork chops on the grill at their house. Mutual friends, Carol and Larry Olson joined us ...as Julie's cousin Karen and her husband, Scott were here visiting for the weekend from Cedar Rapids, IA. Julie and Ken have been wanted us to meet them for a while now and it just never has worked. They also have a trucking business.
We had a wonderful time ..... got into some heated discussions about religion......what are the two subjects you are not to talk about at a party????? Religion and politics...yep, leave it to John and Scott....they dispensed with that rule. LOL
Fun was had by all....we were all tired by 10:30...so headed home....what short hitters we have become.!!!!!!
