Well, it happened. On Friday Aug. 21, 2009 we had to put Kate to sleep. She had lymphoma and took a turn for the worse. It was very hard and very sad. I don't think either one of us has been that affected by the loss of a dog. She will be missed.

Wow, it has been busy. Had quite a bit of company and lots of great lake time with the neighbors. Seems we're always eating together and pooling the resources! It is very fun.

Jackie came to the lake with 6 of her girlfriends. They all had a good time. Lot of baby talk tho....seems there was only 1 that wasn't married! And most of them has at least one child!! Yes, I am getting old.

John took a short trip to Florida for 3 days. These are some of the newest pictures. They are telling him we should be closing around Oct 28th or so. The scramble to get in and move begins soon.
