Tooling downtown Savannah, Ga.
Chafton's on the left and ours on the right.
We left Cannon on the 20th and headed south. We spend our first night in St Louis, MO and woke up on the 21st planning on heading to Bowling Green, KY to Christine and Jerry's when the air wouldn't come up in the coach. We had a tow truck called and on the way when John tapped on a valve and up came the air. We went immediately to Freightliner for them to see if they could fix this problem. We have had this problem arise 4 times now!!! The tech there seemed to think he fixed it...and so far we are ok. We got to Bowling Green late on Thursday...but were warmly welcomed with dinner of chili and corn bread! Jerry had a pad all made up for us and a 50 amp plug in to go with it!!!
We spent Friday letting Jerry and Christine get ready to go and Christine and I went and got our
toes and nails done. We ended up going out for dinner to a restaurant called "Toot's" and I had catfish and it was very good.
We left Bowling Green on Saturday and stopped for the night in Macon, Ga at a rest area...headed out early Sunday and drove to Savannah, Ga and have spent 3 days here. We had an appt to see a boat that didn't pan out due to the fact that the owner didn't keep up the boat. At least we knew that was the type of boat that we liked. We toured Savannah and the next day we toured Beaufort, SC...a very old town with a lot of history from the 1700's. We grilled out tonight ...salmon and steak. Tomorrow we will get up and head to Beverly Beach Florida and spend a nice long day on the ocean. All for now.
