November 9, 2008

Well, no pictures today. First of all we got up and thought it was 6:25 am...went back to bed, awoke again and it was 7:05. We knew we slept longer than 30 min...John was looking at his cell and I was looking at the living room. We are in Lauglin, NV which is on west coast time and when we went grocery shopping in Bullhead City, AZ (literally over the bridge) they are on mountain time. CRAZY! So, I got up and took a 30 min jog..ran into a guy with a Scottie...reminded me of Kate but his was 27 lbs he said....I didn't believe him, she didn't look that much bigger! Kate is 17 or 18 lbs. After my job, I helped John finish washing the other side of the motor home and also the PT Cruiser. Good thing we washed the PT because when John went to do the tires we found two tires with bulging spots on them. Needless to say we weren't going to Oatman, or anywhere else in the car. I searched for a Firestone dealer so we can call them tomorrow morning first thing. Hopefully they will have our tires. After this discovery, we decided to shower up and head for the casino to check it all out. We went into a lounge called "Losers Lounge" and they had ALL the football games on including the Vikings. We then went through a Classic Car display. Brother Kyle, they had a nice 1970 Plum Crazy mopar, just like yours...I think! I believe it was for sale for $30,000.00. They also had a motorcycle of an Argentinian photojournalist named Emilio Scotto who went around the world 2 times. He had been shot at, put in jail, all sorts of interesting things and beautiful pictures. He has a web site that is www.emilioscotto.com. Very interesting.
We then walked down to another casino and had lunch and I gambled 7.50 and lost it all...as per usual. We have been doing laundry etc...and will go to the Prime Rib Restaurant for dinner at 6:30. Sorry about the pictures, but if we get our tires tomorrow we might try to go to Oatman tomorrow before we leave for Vegas. Sorry Sharon, we are trying to get there!
Until next time.
